SHOEBOX PACKING PARTY

Please come to our Christmas shoebox packing party!!!

The boxes are empty and ready to be filled.

Help us make Christmas relevant and special for a child in need.  “Your gift of love may be the door God uses to open a child’s heart to Jesus Christ”.   If you would like to join us please purchase 12 items that are the same to donate to our gift collection, before November 8.  Then you and your family are welcome to pack a box/boxes for a boy or girl of your age choice on November 12.  We will have a “to be filled in information sheet” to pack with your box that will tell a little about yourself, so plan a little extra time for this. Please remember your $7 donation, for each box packed, to Samaritans Purse. which helps with shipping and other project costs.

Donation Drop Off the week of November 1 -8.  If you are unable to drop them off -call us and we can arrange a pick up.

Gift suggestions:

• School Supplies:  Pens, pencils and sharpeners, crayons or markers, writing pads or paper, solar calculators, coloring and picture books
• Toys:  Small cars, balls, dolls, stuffed animals, kazoos, harmonicas, yo-yos, jump ropes, small Etch A Sketch,  or slinky
• Hygiene Products:  Tooth brush, toothpaste, mild bar of soap (in a plastic bag), comb, washcloth, etc.
• Other:  Hard candy, lollipops, mints, gum (all candy must be placed in a plastic bag), t-shirt, ball caps, sunglasses, hair clips, toy jewelry
• A personal note:   You may enclose a personal note or photo of yourself and/or your family. Include your name and address - the child may write back.
